From the Old Testament forward it has been made perfectly clear by God that He is the one and only way through Christ who was the sacrificial lamb for the redemption of our sin. There is pressure from the so-called church, the one world church, to accept all religions as good, one as good as the other. We are not to sellout or trade off the sovereignty of God for any man-made theory or to incorporate idolatry into the kingdom of God. Study the scripture in the Old Testament where Israel repeatedly turned to idols to face the judgments of God. First the golden calf as Moses was away on the mountain receiving the 10 Commandments from God. It never worked to compromise with the local pagan religions for God's people. These Scriptures are recorded for our benefit that we may know the true way of salvation. Once a man takes an oath to a false god, then that person is lost from the real living Lord. Once a man takes an oath to Osiris in the good old boy fraternity club of favoritism, he has damned his soul and becomes a dead man to true spiritual feelings and the victorious life. A man takes that oath for himself and his family because no women are allowed in their Lodge, even though it is a Temple of worship, it is a substitute for God and for Christ. Esau essentially sold his soul for a mess of pottage so that he might eat and be merry, or that he may have it easy in life with a greased pathway easy and enlightened by secrets. Again and again I say repent and denounce all idolatry to be saved from the pit of hell. The struggle most all people of today registered in the USA with that social security mark endure to learn and to pay to sustain life is a product of the secret order of human slavery. A mans house is his or her castle and should be provided free of charge with no mortgage or taxes. Even the Communists did this for their people. There should be no outcast home less people in this country or the world. Riches are damned when the earth is created free. The child's dress is suggested by Pollock dribbles-a device Thompson uses in a number of other pieces. Scattered among the Biblical works and abstractions are a few curious scenes of lavender ducks flying in formation, and springtime landscapes seen though a window hung with lace curtains. These works are decidedly less interesting than the religious ones. Many apocalyptic minded painters claim divine guidance in the creation of their work. So, if their work is truly instructed by the Almighty, how can a mere human place value on it? Still, it's remarkable how often such artist share common afflictions. Most of them struggled with personal tragedy or mental or bodily disease, which has compel them along the road to their obsessive art making. Thompson's malady is physical, a nerve condition that has paralyzed his lower legs and partially crippled his hands. In the larger art world, though, it's rarely mentioned that contemporary photo realist master Chuck Close, for example, is a quadriplegic. His paintings must stand on their own". I am very well pleased overall with this art show of my work and the writings in the newspapers that have resulted including the great article written by Joe Adams for Bold Life monthly magazine.

The selection of work by the gallery was perfect for the occasion because it carried a consistent message of my mission and purpose in painting art and writing my daily journal of devotional guidance with prayer and scripture to interpret the tangled web of the world. I pray for understanding and lasting results to bring salvation to lives to bless one and all.
